  Dr. Vogel and all of his staff that I have met are first rate. Though the cost of dentistry is staggering, the most important thing is the quality of the work. So far as I can tell, quality here is very high. His technology is current - I’m not afraid of dentists, so I don’t fear going, yet I had procedures done that I’d never seen before: methods of cleaning, techniques for investigating and diagnosing gum problems. The doctor is very good at communicating what he plans to do and what it will involve. He gave me a written treatment plan, complete with costs. Very transparent. I’m interested in the details, so he gave them to me, showing me on my X-rays where problems were, etc. I felt that I was in good hands. The hygienist who did my deep cleaning was also notably attentive and willing to keep me abreast of what she was doing. I was amazed that the cleaning produced visible change - not what I’ve experienced before. And they weren’t merely professionally competent - they were friendly and personable. Vogel started by asking me about myself: “I like to get to know my patients as people, not just mouths and teeth.” And I believe he meant it. I’m glad I found this practice. Addendum, August 2026: Just a cleaning today, with a different hygienist, also excellent. Ken was friendly and regularly checked in about how I was tolerating the procedure. Since it’s hard for me to breathe when I’m on my back, I appreciated his genuine concern. He answered any questions I had and did a fine job.

There is such a sense of calm and kindness in the office that immediately puts you at ease, something I have rarely experienced at a dental visit. Dr. Vogel is incredibly nice and reassuring. He takes the time to explain everything, checks in constantly to make sure you are comfortable, and you can truly feel how much he cares about his patients.
